Before the sled ride, we are keen to introduce you to our beautiful pack and passionately share our knowledge about dogs. We take the time (~1 hour) to tell you about the history of dog sledding, dogs in general, whether it is their physiology, psychology or their behavior in a pack, their evolution since the wolf, but also their age-old bond with us which makes them humanity's best friends. You will never see dogs in the same way again after coming to our place!
You drive your own team solo
There are not many companies that offer you the opportunity to drive your own 4-dog team yourself. This is exactly what we want to offer you, and alone on your sled! The dogs can be at their full potential without being overloaded and you can fully experience the driving without worrying about managing the weight of a passenger. We believe this is the ultimate dog sledding experience! We take the time to teach you how to drive a sled and you will discover, following the guide, our winding and exciting trails! NB We always have at least one seat per outing. Children under 12 are automatically taken care of in the guide's sled.

Like a good quality wine, we guarantee that your experience with us will be enjoyable from start to finish. From our customer service to our on-site supervision, we aim to offer you a caring and respectful service. We personalize your experience as much as possible and guarantee small groups that can even be exclusive. We have chosen to offer only two outings per day in order to have maximum time for you and to respect the well-deserved rest of our dogs. The well-being of our baby wolves is a priority and we guarantee that our standard of ethics towards them is among the highest in Quebec! Le "temps total" exprimé dans les sous-sections suivantes est variable selon plusieurs facteurs. Les "temps de traineau" réfèrent au temps passé en traîneau, dans le sentier, en excluant le temps des préparations.

Que vous ayez déjà expérimenté ce sport ou non, une introduction aux chiens, des consignes de sécurités, cours de conduite du traîneau, de maniement des chiens ainsi que la réponse à toutes vos questions se fera avant le départ.

Le traîneau à chiens est un sport extrême... pour tous !

La conduite du traîneau n'est pas une chose évidente et les chiens maintiendront leur vitesse (voir accéléreront) en forêt, dans les courbes et autres endroits périlleux... La pratique de ce sport exige de bons réflexes et de bons nerfs. Vous devez savoir aussi qu'elle exigera de vous un effort physique important, peut-être équivalant à une partie de hockey sur glace.

Si vous n'êtes pas certain de pouvoir conduire votre traîneau, pour éviter tout accident et toutes blessures, vous avez l'option, moyennant des frais supplémentaires, de vous faire conduire par un de nos guides.

Le port d'un casque protecteur (type planche à neige, ou hockey) et de lunettes (type de ski ou de sécurité) est fortement recommandé et obligatoire pour les enfants. Vous en avez : apportez-les ! Sinon, nous en avons pour vous (gratuit).

Nos traîneaux ont malheureusement une limite de charge par client équivalent à environ 275 lbs (125kg) de masse corporelle.

Le tarif enfant est déterminé par un poids inférieur à 100 lbs (45 kg) et non par l'âge.
Les Adolescents comptent généralement pour des adultes.

Les enfants ou adolescent-es désirant conduire leur attelage peuvent le faire généralement à partir de l'âge de douze (12) ans selon leurs aptitudes sportives. Malgré toute entente téléphonique, c'est sur le terrain à l'heure de la préparation que mes guides et moi décidons si ces jeunes peuvent effectivement conduire ou pas. Ils entrent alors dans la catégorie de tarification : jeune-conducteur.

The rate is $60 for 1 to 3 people , $80 for groups of 4 to 5 people or $100 for groups of 6 people or more.
You will receive by email a personalized web gallery in which you can download the photos of your choice in high definition! A beautiful memory to keep of this unique experience!

COLONIAL HIKE: THE MOST RECOMMENDED BY OUR CUSTOMERS
Welcome to our typically colonial land. The lush forest representative of the Laurentian forests of yellow birch maple was maintained by the first inhabitants of the region to promote the sugar maple to eventually extract its wonderful syrup. The maple groves of our countryside are a heritage legacy of prime importance in Quebec.
A superb little sporty hike for the whole family that will take you along narrow paths with exciting differences in altitude.
There are three levels of track difficulty available to you and after some experimentation with the basic track, we will help you decide if you are capable of moving on to the next level!

Go for a day of sledding through the magnificent forest of Petite Nation.
You will enjoy a beautiful sled ride in the forest and a meal around the fire accompanied by traditional stories and songs.
