Meute Tanwen

Our name comes from ancient Gaelic (a tribute to my Irish ancestors...) and means white fire. Just like this paradox of the snow that burns our eyes.

A little word about me...

Hello, my name is Éric Pichette, I am the owner of La Meute.

I am a folklorist musician & storyteller by trade. I am also passionate about history, biology and many other subjects that life is full of!

Welcome to my home. I hope you will fully enjoy your adventure with my family of wolves! If you want, I will tell you about the Petite-Nation from every angle.
I will tell you about the fauna and flora of our region, the history of dog sledding and even life in the woods during the time of New France.

A story of passion

The Tanwen Pack, founded in 2005, is the result of a passion for an ancestral sport as well as for wonderful animals who give without counting. Our dogs are very playful and will adopt you at first contact.
For most shorthaired Siberian Huskies, they are trained to work, but also to respond to various hunting and game commands.
We raise our puppies like our children and they give it back to us on the sleds...!

Also, we say pack, because in our country dogs are born, live and die here, as a family.

Meet our beautiful wolves

Our pack is made up of 42 dogs, the leader of which is Ragnar, an incredible dog who has all the qualities of a leader, you will see, his gaze leaves no one indifferent!

Our dogs are raised close to us and are real gems, they are sociable and love humans very much!

Tribute to the ancestors

We also pay tribute to the ancestors who, each in turn, wrote the history of our pack. We keep them in our hearts forever.
